You’ve Spent Years Taking Care of Everyone Else.
But when was the last time you felt truly held?
When was the last time you paused long enough to hear your own voice?
Lately, you’ve been going through the motions.
Saying yes when you want to say no.
Keeping the peace at the expense of your own needs.
Feeling like you’re drifting further from the person you once were.
Maybe you’ve even caught yourself thinking:
"I don’t even know what I want anymore."
This retreat is your invitation to come home to yourself.
A One-Day Retreat to Unravel, Exhale, and Reconnect
This isn’t just a break from the world - it’s a return to your deepest truth.
In this immersive day, you will:
✔ Feel grounded and clear - instead of constantly going with the flow to avoid rocking the boat.
✔ Reconnect with your inner voice - so you no longer second-guess your own desires.
✔ Learn that it’s safe to express your truth - without fear of rejection or guilt.
✔ Experience true rest - not just physically, but emotionally and mentally.
A full day dedicated to your needs, your breath, and your truth.
The Experience
🌿 Yin Yoga – Gentle movement to help you release tension and reconnect with your body.
🌬 Conscious Connected Breathwork – A deep nervous system reset, guiding you into softness and calm.
📝 Guided Meditative Writing – Explore the parts of yourself you’ve been too busy to hear.
🎶 Sound Healing – Wrap yourself in warmth and stillness, like a safety blanket for your soul.
“The venue and food were really good, the content and hosts were great too! A lovely day, with like minded people. Nourishing and empowering.”
This is your first deep exhale in months.
A day where your only job is to receive, soften, and come back to yourself.
“I thoroughly enjoyed the yin yoga (which I intend to continue practising as I found it very beneficial). I also found the breath work and sound healing to be a wonderful experience also.”
But Can You Really Take This Time for Yourself?
If you’re hesitating, you’re not alone. Here’s what I hear most often:
❌ “I feel guilty taking time for myself.”
✔ You’ve spent years showing up for others—what if, just for one day, you allowed yourself to receive the same care?
❌ “I’m not sure if this will work for me.”
✔ You don’t have to do anything. Just show up, breathe, and let yourself be held in a space where you don’t have to take care of anyone else.
❌ “I don’t know if I can afford to step away from my responsibilities.”
✔ But can you afford to keep running on empty? What’s the cost of continuing to feel disconnected from yourself?
“The day was very wholesome and everything moved at a lovely pace and naturally flowed from one thing to the next. Didn’t know what to expect doing breathwork and journalling as a group but it was a very wholesome experience.
”

Meet you host:
Claryn Nicholas
Hi I’m Claryn
I am a certified conscious connected breathwork and sound healing practitioner, somatic coach, and registered yoga teacher. I have trained with Gabor Maté in his Compassionate Inquiry psychotherapeutic approach to healing trauma.
All of this to say that I have come to believe and understand that our bodies hold the answer.
I spent a good portion of my life, rushing through it, anxious, drained and running on empty. In 2020, I was diagnosed with an overactive thyroid condition and had to learn to slow down and listen to my own needs which allowed me to meet myself again.
After addressing past traumas, releasing emotions through breathwork and committing to my own self care I changed the way I spoke to myself and treated my body. It was only then I got closer to my desire, understood what I really wanted, communicated consciously with my partner, family and friends, and got to do the work I only dreamed of.
It all begins with slowing down, pausing and reflecting.
To really start reconnecting with yourself.

Morag is a part-time storyteller and poet who has been delivering guided writing sessions for over three years. In her professional life she supports purpose-led entrepreneurs to find not just the right
words but the right ways to market and run their business. Passionate about people raising their unique voices up into the world, Morag believes that words are the bridges that help us cross the unseeable.
She’ll take every opportunity she can to talk about how we can all harness the power of our true and wise inner voice to think better, imagine better and reveal limitless solutions.
When she’s not helping folks discover that their voice is their most powerful tool you’ll find her far away from computer screens, writing in cafés, wandering through woods, shopping in art galleries and most fun of all, riding motorbikes.

Information about Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB):
Conscious Connected Breathwork is one of the most profound approaches to releasing emotional, mental and physical tension, regulating and supporting our nervous system, deepening our awareness and connection to ourselves, and expanding our consciousness, and for trauma release
CCB uses a breathing technique that we breathe through the mouth in a continuous circular pattern (there is no pause between the inhale and exhale). The emphasis is on the inhale to create a charge as you fill the body with more oxygen.
Breathing this way takes us to an altered state of consciousness where our analytical brain (the prefrontal cortex) goes offline.
Neurotransmitters, including dopamine and endorphins, are then released.
You will be conscious and always in control of your own breath and journey and I will guide and hold a safe space for you throughout.
Information about Sound Healing
Sound Healing is not recommended for those during certain periods of pregnancy, individuals with sound/music induced epileptic seizures, if you have severe mental health conditions, those with implanted medical devices, if you have heart problems, hearing issues, or if you are currently experiencing an acute or infectious condition.
